Czech Seed Beads

The workhorse beads of the trade, used for just about every type of bead work imaginable. They are sold on hanks of 12 strands 20 inches long, with the exceptions of the 3-cuts and the charlottes, which are 12 strands 10 inches long. The temporary string used in the hanks is not suitable for wearing.

8/0 Seed Beads

8/0 Seed Beads are typically found in edge work or in mountain man era bead work. Commonly called 'real beads', this is great for quick projects that need to be done yesterday and have heft to them.

10/0 Seed Beads

If you want to find a common work bead, this is the place to look. The 10/0 seed bead is very commonly used in mass-produced Native bead work today.

11/0 2-cuts (Hex) Seed Beads

Hex beads seemed to be all the rage a few years ago, what with all the amulet bags and whatnot that were made from these beads. Today, it's more common to find them gracing necklaces and earrings. If you want beads of the squarish style like the Japanese beads, you're going to want to look here.

11/0 True Cuts (comming soon!)
11/0 Old Time Seed Beads

These pre-1935 beads are in short supply, when they run out, they won't be back.

11/0 Seed Beads

This is it, the most common size bead used in bead work today. A very wide color base, ready for all your creative projects.

12/0 3 Cuts Seed Beads

Fancy cuts, random style - when you look at the wonderful beaded crown, or the wondrous beaded fancy dance cape, these beads were the ones likely used to make it.

12/0 Seed Beads

Less popular than the 11/0's, these 12/0 seed beads are still in wide use. Especially when combined with the 12/0 3 cuts, they give a nice contrasting texture to your work.

13/0 Charlottes Seed Beads

People from around the world order from us on a daily basis, and nine times out of ten, this is what they're looking for. We've one of the widest colorbases of anyplace in the world - odds are you're going to find what you want. What are Charlottes? They are a 'true cut' bead, one facet, giving a random sparkle to your work. Wonderful to work with, small enough to give great detail.

13/0 Seed Beads

Half compliment to the 13/0 charlottes, half following for those who love to do detailed gourd work. These are wonderful beads to work with, though be ware - darker colors tend to be smaller than lighter colors.

14/0 Seed Beads

Real detail? That's when people go to the 14/0 seed beads. Perfect for miniature pipe bags and as decoration on dolls, these /tiny/ beads are some of the most addicting ones we've ever tried.
