Calling the Eagle
Bill's Native American flute music consists of traditional songs
taught to him by the elders of various Indian tribes, as well as songs he
composed. Traveling extensively throughout the country, Bill performs
and conducts workshops on the flute playing and making. He performs using
a variety of Native American flutes that he hand crafts from red cedar and
other exotic woods. Using only traditional methods and measurements, his
flutes possess a haunting and mystical sound which mesmerize his
audiences. Both young and old alike are transported to a time rich in
Native American culture.

by friends of the Lakota, Winnebago, and Navajo's nations, as well as
those which he himself has composed. As you listen to William's music

found nowhere but in one's heart. His message is cear and easily
understood by all who allow it into their own heart. Accompanied by
drumming, gourd rattle, and other special effects by Millard Clark.

Songs From Turtle Island
We're proud to introduce a new group, Elk Whistle Native American flute
ensemble. Bill Neal (Cherokee) and Gary Lemos (Mayan) are joined on thier
first album by Jon Sherman. This recording was made live under the oak trees
at the Descanso Botanical Gardens in La Canada, California, using the power of
the sun. It is one of the very first solar-powered recordings available anywhere,
and the first (as far as we know) Native recording using this process. The album
is dedicated to our woman elders who have carried the healing spirit and
knowlege down through the generations - to the grandmothers and great grandmothers
who spread their wings over all of them, who remember the Original Instructions.
This is a special recording from a very special artist.
Cassette - $10.50
